You get six of the best coyote hunting tips that I learned over the last 20 years of hunting coyotes. Let me start by saying that if you are a beginner, coyote hunting is great fun. Every time I go I enjoyed so much and learn something new to hunting.

Coyote hunting tip number four is to hunt with a partner whenever possible.  I seldom hunt alone.  One reason is safety.  The main reason though is being able to see the whole area that you are hunting.  It can be very hard for one person to scan the throughout the area by themselves, without a lot of traffic. Fewer moves, the better.

Number five is to select the right call for your area. I live in Kentucky, where a large part of the coyote diet cottontail rabbit and mice. So I mainly an emergency Cottontail rabbit and use the mouse squeak. The key will be to determine what the coyotes in your area to eat and use the call right. If you live in the west, where jack rabbits or higherrabbits, you probably want a Jackrabbit distress call that a tone raspier game call Cottontail used.

Coyote hunting tips number six is to start asking very low in terms of volume. The reason is that there might be a coyote is very close to you. If you were to start calling very difficult ghost the coyote. After a couple of times to call is very low in terms of volume, start calling louder and louder.
