Did you ever travel north along the Pacific Highway and just before exit 89 captured in a viewing angle by standing on your homes Tallebudgera Creek (near the sewage treatment plant). Many times, while traveling to the northern part of the Pacific Highway, I wondered about this field. But I stumbled on the answer by accident, it's fun living in an area for a long time, but you never know.

Australia Day 2010 is the day to discover ElanorWetlands

Australia Day, I wanted Elanor Wetlands, controlled by a few days before hand. And 'quite an isolated place, so I decided it would be better to take a mate, the only one willing to come was my dad. Drove right by the end of Tallebudgera Drive, Palm Beach (which is a nice walk on his own) and parked at Pacific Motor Way beyond. This area is a popular place to fish and catch crabs, I said. It 's also a quick way toTallebudgera Square in West Burleigh as you walk through the pedestrian bridge.

Tallebudgera Square is a beautiful place with a pair of weather-board building yesterday. You can also go to David Fleay Wildlife Park just across the street. There are many ways Tallebudgera Creek on the catwalk, there's always a camera handy! Come back to wetlands Creek homes remember, I said there was also just after the viaduct.

ElanorWetlands

Sounds like a place a long-forgotten novel. while the transversal aspect to the river to look to your left and you will see the trees, a steel barrier. This is the beginning of time Elanor wetlands. The entrance is not easily visible. (Elanor treatment plants are behind you). The course is completely different from that of course I talked about so far. The day has not evolved into more of an adventure or maybe you're the right type of clothingdays.

The ground to walk to the river and finally to the whole area at the website Mangrove see, the place looks like a scene from the book "The Adventures of Tom Swayer" rope hanging from a tree, it feels very summery days Hot fun to jump into a river.

Be prepared for spiders

This area is a haven for birdwatchers, is quiet and secluded. But when we went last night andactivities in the early morning is always present. These creatures filled the night, spinning silk fibers and let cool morning air that capture, so the strategic road race you feel. Yes spiders! Not a problem just means that we were the first to pave the way, I was facing. Call me on the proper clothing to not show the shorts and be sure to take insect repellent (which is the wetland of course!). We went a bit 'after the flow and the grass begins to become more and more, and I was always clear silk threads, fortunately without any kind of spiders and get jumpier, not that I do not like spiders, I like sitting on my shoulder or discussion of its over my face.

Time Reverse

The road back to sewage treatment and then some swung hard right now the grass was long gone, decided the timeTics, spiders, snakes, sand flies, etc., etc., began to fill my head (en. My father does not help, called tics) I was well prepared for this trip. That the operation was an innocent green prayers Manus hangs from a silk thread to climb on my hand. Under normal circumstances it would not be worried, but I was already jumping, all I saw was something I could not shake because I was wrapped in cobwebs!

The end result is not over wetlands running Elanorattempt it another day. This is more of an adventure walk for those truly interested in fauna and flora a walk of discovery, put it on your list but remember to wear long pants, take a hat, sunscreen, bottle of water and the insect repellent. (For you) and did I mention the right shoes…

See you on my next walk
